Fairfield-Extra Loft Bonded Polyester Batting: Queen Size. A fuller, airy batting that creates a more pronounced relief when hand or machine quilted. Ideal for tied quilts. The loft is approximately 3/8 inches to 1/2 inches. Extra-Loft batting is bonded, meaning that it has been coated with a light resin to both sides of the batting. The resin coating allows the batting to maintain its light, airy appearance while binding the fibers together to resist fiber migration.
